SHERYL BALTHROP is an experienced transactional and trial attorney. Sheryl's practice emphasizes family, employment, construction and business law. She has successfully represented clients before agency, state and federal tribunals since 1991. She has also negotiated scores of win-win resolutions in significant business and family matters, allowing for continued beneficial relationships for both parties. She is dedicated to superior client representation.
Sheryl obtained her juris doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1991 and joined the firm the same year. She is a member of the family law, construction law and employment law sections of the Oregon State Bar and Lane County Bar Association. She has written and spoken on a number of topics, including business entity choice, employee hiring, construction disputes, and collection. She is a former hearings officer and trial advocacy seminar leader.
Sheryl is a member of the Lane County Home Builders Association, Inns of Court, , Eugene Chamber of Commerce and Eugene Airport Rotary Club. She is active in her children's school and athletic events and provides pro bono legal services to ShelterCare, a local nonprofit agency.
Sheryl is a native Oregonian, raised on a cattle ranch in Eastern Oregon. She is married with four children. She enjoys running and yard work and has completed three Ironman triathlons.
