MEGAN LIVERMORE joins the Gaydos, Churnside & Balthrop team after serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Darryl Larson of the Lane County Circuit Court. Her practice emphasizes business and commercial law, real estate and litigation.
Megan received her juris doctor in 2005 from the Willamette University College of Law, where she served as the Symposium Editor for Willamette Law Review. She has her undergraduate degree in speech communications from Oregon State University. Prior to law school, Megan enjoyed unique experiences in both the public and private sector. Immediately after graduation from Oregon State, she worked in the Director’s Office at the Oregon Department of Corrections where she worked with the Communications Manager on public affairs and public relations. After her time with the DOC Megan helped launch Digimarc, a successful Portland high-tech company which she helped grow to its Initial Public Offering and beyond.
Megan is a member of the Oregon State Bar and Lane County Bar Association, where she serves as co-chair of the New Lawyers Committee. She is also a member of the Oregon Women Lawyers and is involved with their networking committee.
Megan, a native Oregonian, returned to her hometown of Eugene to start her second career as a lawyer. She enjoys being involved in making Eugene a more vital place to live, work and play. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, collecting art, adding to her reading list and spending time with family and friends. |
